Royal Mail are celebrating the 65th birthday of the marmalade-loving bear Paddington. He first featured in the 1958 book 'A Bear Called Paddington', written by English author Thomas Michael Bond CBE.
The miniature sheet comprises four stamps, featuring stills from the original Paddington television series for the BBC. The stamp images are: Paddington reaching for a marmalade sandwich (1st class), Paddington and Mr Gruber having elevenses (1st class), Paddington and the Brown family having breakfast (£2.00) and Paddington baking (£2.00).
The coin cover encapsulates a 2019 Paddington at St Paul's Cathedral 50p coin and bears a Bear Lane, London SE1 handstamp.
