The new King Charles III definitives are released on 4th April 2023. They feature a portrait of HM The King that was created by Martin Jennings for the new Royal Mint coinage. The same colours are kept from the HM Queen Elizabeth II Machin definitive stamps: 1st class - Plum Purple, 2nd class - Holly Green, 1st class large - Marine Turquoise and 2nd class large - Dark Pine Green.

This definitive cover bears the 4 x 1st class retail book with an Edinburgh handstamp.
