To mark the 75th anniversary of the publication of 'The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe', Royal Mail are releasing a miniature sheet, comprising four stamps, all 1st Class, featuring the original illustrations by Pauline Baynes: Mr Beaver leads the children to his house; The children and the beavers call for Edmund; The White Witch takes Edmund captive and The battle between Aslan and the White Witch.
The Gold 500 cover image is framed by a 22ct gold-blocked border and the cover bears a Lewis Close, Oxford handstamp. Numbered limited edition of 500.
