To mark the 75th anniversary of the publication of 'The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe', Royal Mail are releasing a miniature sheet, comprising four stamps, all 1st Class, featuring the original illustrations by Pauline Baynes: Mr Beaver leads the children to his house; The children and the beavers call for Edmund; The White Witch takes Edmund captive and The battle between Aslan and the White Witch.
The coin cover encapsulates a 1950 sixpence coin, for the year 'The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe' was published, and bears an Oxford handstamp.
