Ten superb stamps - issued in two 1st class se-tenant strips of five - comprise dramatic views of ten of the UK's 15 National Parks selected by Royal Mail in close co-operation with the National Parks themselves: Peak District; Lake District; Snowdonia; Dartmoor; North York Moors; The Broads; New Forest; South Downs; Pembrokeshire Coast and Loch Lomond and the Trossachs.
The BLCS 5000 cover complements the stamps with a dramatic image of Mam Tor - 'The Shivering Mountain' - in Derbyshire's pioneering Peak District National Park and carries a Bakewell pictorial handstamp.
