In celebration of the release of the 25th film featuring Ian Fleming's world-famous secret agent, Royal Mail has released an issue.
One of the characteristic features of the film series was the number of ingenious gadgets with which our hero was equipped for his various missions. The Miniature Sheet comprises four stamps depicting four of the more famous inventions devised for his escapades. What's more, the stamps are not quite what they seem - if the sheet is viewed under a UV light, detailed specifications of each gadget are revealed. The sheet stamps also feature a unique perforation incorporating the agent's licence number.
The BLCS 5000 cover complements the sheet with a single stamp from the issue flanked by features of the London landscape and carries a London SW1 handstamp.
