2019 marks the bicentenary of the birth of Queen Victoria and her husband, Albert Prince Consort. Victoria is the second longest-reigning monarch in British history and the stamps - three 1st class NVI and £1.25, £1.55 and £1.60 - depict six scenes from her long life: Queen and Empress in 1890; with Benjamin Disraeli (her favourite Prime Minister); with her servant John Brown; in her Robes of State; her marriage to Prince Albert and as a young princess aged eleven.
The BLCS 2500 cover complements the stamps with an image of an engraving depicting her marriage to Prince Albert and bears a Windsor Victoria and Albert handstamp.
