The commemorative miniature sheet celebrates the legacy of Prince Albert, Prince Consort. Four stamps - two 1st class NVI and two £1.55 - depict four buildings - three of which he was instrumental in bringing to existence - Model Lodge, Kennington, Balmoral Castle and the Crystal Palace (shown at its permanent location at Sydenham) and one - The Royal Albert Hall - dedicated to his memory. The sheet selvedge depicts the Prince in his prime.
