Superheroes have always attracted a loyal following and the ten featured on these dazzling, dramatic stamps are some of the best known. The began to appear 80 years ago - the anniversary of which has inspired this Royal Mail issue. The ten 1st class NVI stamps feature original artwork by British illustrator Alan Davis, longtime Marvel artist.
