To celebrate England concurrently holding both the Men's and Women's Cricket World Cups, Royal Mail have issued a miniature sheet for each achievement. Both finals were hosted at Lord's, the Women's on 23rd July 2017 and the Men's on 14th July 2019.
The Men's tournament was contested by 10 teams, who played in a single round-robin group, with the top four at the end of the group phase - India, Australia, New Zealand and England - progressing to the semi-finals. The final, between England and New Zealand, was eventually won on boundary count after both the match and the subsequent Super Over finished as ties.
The BLCS 5000 cover complements the miniature sheet with an image of Lord's Cricket Ground where the tense and nerve-wracking final was hosted. The sheet is cancelled by a pictorial London NW8 handstamp, location of Lord's.
