HRH Prince Charles the Prince of Wales celebrated his 70th birthday on 14 November 2018 for which Royal Mail issued a special commemorative miniature sheet of six stamps including a brand new, hitherto unseen portrait taken earlier this year with his two sons in full military uniform. The sheet comprises three 1st class and three £1.55 stamps depicting His Royal Highness on formal and informal family occasions.
This set comprises six covers each bearing one of the stamps from the sheet mounted with an appropriate handstamp and image of His Royal Highness.
