June 2017 marked the 50th anniversary of one of Royal Mail's most iconic stamps, the Machin definitive. To celebrate this design classic's anniversary, Royal Mail produced two miniature sheets, one showcasing the design process and the second charting it's evolution.
This cover in our Gold series bears a pictorial High Wycombe handstamp of the Machin stamp and alongside the 22ct gold-bordered image is a 2007 40th anniversary Machin commemorative. Featuring a signature by Dame Ester Rantzen DBE, tireless consumer champion, presenter of TV's 'That's Life!' and founder of child protection charity Childline. Few of these signed covers available.
