The Royal Mail stamps in this issue celebrate one of the most influential and cultural figures in music history, David Bowie. The stamps themselves follow the same die-cut format as the Classic Album Covers range from 2010.
Our prestigious Gold cover focuses on the Aladdin Sane album and bears an additonal stamp from the Aladdin Sane Fan Sheet which is surrounded by a 22ct gold blocked border. The stamp varies from the one in the set in that it is gummed rather than self-adhesive. Issued in a numbered limited edition of 500.
