To mark the 50th anniversary of the legendary group Pink Floyd turning professional and becoming the 'house band' of the London Underground movement of music and arts, Royal Mail have issued a set of stamps, miniature sheet and a stunning maxi sheet.
Our Gold cover takes it's theme from the £1.52 stamp that features the 1977 Animals album cover. The image of Battersea Power Station is framed by a 22ct gold blocked border. The cover additionally carries a Division Bell commemorative from the 2010 souvenir sheet. All are cancelled with a Cambridge handstamp, the birth place of Syd Barrett. Produced in a numbered limited edition of 500.
