2011 marked the 350th anniversary of the Coronation of Kings Charles II and the remaking of most of the Crown Jewels, the originals of which had been broken up by Cromwell. The BLCS 5000 cover depicts HM The Queen in 1953 wearing the Imperial State Crown - which she wore as she left the abbey for her procession to Buckingham Palace - and bears a London SW1 handstamp for Westminster Abbey where every Coronation has taken place since William the Conqueror on Christmas day 1066.
