This cover features the An Turas Ferry Shelter on the island of Tiree-depicted on the 64p stamp. One of the more controversial designs featured in this issue, the shelter was completed in 2003 and remains highly contentious to this day. It takes the form of a tunnel, the entrance of which is shown in the 'silk' image, framed by a celtic-themed 22ct gold blocked design. The cover is further enhanced by four stamps from the 1975 European Architect's Heritage Year issue. It bears a pictorial Oban, Argyll cancellation for the Island of Tiree, depicting a designers compass. NUMBERED LIMITED EDITION OF 500.
